Music Director

Northern Michigan Chorale, Petoskey, Michigan, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic music director beginning January 2026.
The Northern Michigan Chorale is a 44 year old 40-80 voice multigenerational non-auditioned community chorus with a wide range of musical abilities.  The chorale performs two public concerts annually usually in November and May. Programs in the past have included a wide range of music from sacred, patriotic, and holiday music to popular movies and Broadway musicals.
Responsibilities: Provide training tools and direct choral ensemble in two public concerts in calendar year. Work with board in determining concert “themes and music selection” as well as determine appropriate additional musical accompaniments.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be an experienced choral conductor and teacher. Experience with large choral groups preferred.
