Lakeview Cemetery Tours

This fall, step into Harbor Springs’ past and discover how earlier generations understood death, remembrance, and community. Through historical research, gravestone art, and storytelling, Lakeview Cemetery comes alive with history!

Join Harbor Springs Area Historical Society curator Beth Wemigwase for a guided 90-minute walking tour featuring the graves of around ten Harbor Springs residents. At each stop, you’ll hear the stories of the individuals and families laid to rest and learn about the unique symbols and iconography carved into their tombstones.
