Harbor Springs Summer Friends Lecture - Anders Kelto

Anders Kelto is a Peabody Award-Winning journalist who spent five years reporting on Africa for NPR and PRI’s The World. He criss-crossed the continent, covering everything from the 2010 World Cup to the death of Nelson Mandela, to the 2014 Ebola outbreak. He will share stories and photos from his time reporting in some of the world’s most impoverished, vibrant, and rapidly changing countries — and will talk about his own journey from Traverse City soccer star (Kelto was an All-American player and “Mr. Soccer” award winner) to roaming international journalist.
