Contemplative photography is both an approach and a practice—one that invites us to see the world with fresh eyes and engage with our surroundings in a more mindful, intimate way. Rather than simply taking photos, we learn to receive images through presence and perception. In this two half-day immersive workshop, we’ll explore contemplative photography as a creative and meditative process. Through a blend of short lectures, guided exercises, photographic prompts, group discussion, and image sharing, participants will learn to quiet the mind, awaken their senses, and create images that reflect a deeper, more soulful connection with the world around them. This workshop will include lecture, experiential exercises, group discussion, creative application, journaling and group sharing.
