The Selfie Project is a celebration of the age-old art of self-portrait made new. In the age of Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, and a camera on every device, we see “selfies” on a daily basis. The goal of the Selfie Project is to promote positive, age-appropriate, artistic self-expression for students and families in Charlevoix and Emmet Counties.
Crooked Tree Arts Center is excited to see your artistic take on this now everyday medium!

Students will learn how to capture themselves in a photograph, tell a story, and digitally manipulate images. They will experience the art of photography and how to work with a digital camera, as well as using Adobe’s Photoshop to enhance the quality of an image. At the end of this week-long camp, students will have created a Selfie that may be printed or shared with friends and family. Learn more & register.
