Business Roundtable - BC Pizza

March's Business Roundtable will feature Dr. Lisa Ernsberger and the topic of small talk in the workplace! Our host this month is BC Pizza of Harbor Springs! The Roundtable will take place on March 6th at 8:30.

Dr. Lisa Ernsberger works full-time for UnitedHealth Group from her Harbor Springs home office.  With partners from around the globe, she uses video conferencing to collaborate and improve technology to make the healthcare system work better for everyone.  She and her husband Benjamin, and their three children, moved to Harbor three and a half years ago and according to Lisa, “I am never moving ever again!” 

Lisa enjoys the challenges and rewards of public speaking.  She won her first speaking competition in High School and took first place honors at the Northwest Regional Forensics (Speech and Debate Club) competition during her college years.  She successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in Communications and Human Behavior in 2000.

Dr. Ernsberger was recently a guest speaker at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Petoskey and during the March Roundtable meeting for the Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce, she will present a small talk on “Small Talk.”  Come ready to change your pre-conceived ideas about what human communication really means, and how you can make a small change to reap big benefits.

HSACC Business Roundtables - First Tuesday of the Month - the Business Roundtables are open to HSACC members and prospective members who are interested in engaging, sharing best practices, and discussing relevant business topics and knowledge. Updates from the Harbor Springs Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and HSACC are also included.
