Andy Griffiths Event for THE 52-STORY TREEHOUSE

Between the Covers presents . . . from down under . . . Andy Griffiths, beloved author of everyone’s favorite 13-STORY TREEHOUSE series! And when we say that Andy’s books are everyone’s favorite, we really mean everyone. Kids, teachers, parents, librarians, booksellers, reluctant readers, adults who act like kids, dogs who can read, fish who can’t read, your next door neighbor, aliens from outer space. Yep, EVERYONE.

Andy lives all the way on the other side of the world, in Australia, and so we feel extra lucky to have this chance to welcome him to Northern Michigan as a stop on his American tour, and to show him just how many funny and adoring fans he has in our state. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for his readers - young and old alike.

Any single school that sends at least 20 students to this event will help to earn their school library a set of about 40 Macmillan titles, including favorites like: BAD KITTY, ARNIE THE DOUGHNUT, and MY LIFE AS . . . series! Be sure to ask your child’s teacher how his or her class is participating with various pre-event activities and projects.

Andy is happy to sign new books (available for sale at the event), old books (anything he has written that you bring from home), hardcovers, paperbacks, and even your arm if you ask nicely!

This event is FREE and open to the public. Limited seating to the first 350 attendees.
