2021 S.T.I.R. at Pond Hill Farm

Come S.T.I.R. (Socialize, Talk, Interact, Relax - (NOT) Remote) with us at Pond Hill Farm, on May 18, 2021 which is our rescheduled date. 

S.T.I.R. up some business and have a beverage, some food and meet new people in this beautiful outdoor setting.  If you are looking for employees, this is a chance for you to social distance outside yet still mingle with other businesses to see how to attract employees.   

Doug Tippett from North Central Michigan College will be there to give an overview of the Career Development Center in partnership with LTBB that has launched the career services platform. This free, Web-based tool is designed to help students, alumni, and community residents connect with employers looking to fill a wide range of employment opportunities, including internships.  Employers and students will be able create profiles on the platform.  Employers will register their organization with our office prior to accessing services.  Once approved, employers will receive an email including a link to activate the account.  Then employers will be allowed to post all types of positions and look at student résumés.

We will then hear from Cindy Hunt, CH Communication Consulting, a leadership and communication specialist.  She will assist us with experiencing the different communication channels you have within you!  We'll have fun and you will leave with a few ideas on how to expand your reach!
