📅 Saturday, November 28 | 6:00 PM
📍 Main Street, near Holy Childhood Catholic Church
🎄 Free and open to the public
Celebrate 112 years of a magical tradition in downtown Harbor Springs at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting! This beloved event brings the community together to kick off the holiday season with festive cheer, sparkling lights, and plenty of hometown spirit.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m., gather with friends, family, and neighbors to sing carols, count down to the lighting of the beautifully decorated Main Street tree, and celebrate the winners of the annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest. At the same moment, all of the trees lining Main Street will illuminate creating a breathtaking holiday scene that captures the heart of the season.
🎅 More Festivities:
After the lighting, everyone is invited to an ecumenical chili dinner in the Holy Childhood Parish Hall at 150 W. Main Street with chili and soups provided by Holy Childhood Catholic Church, Stutsmanville Chapel, First Presbyterian Church, and United Methodist Church. Enjoy homemade cookies and hot cocoa courtesy of the American Legion Auxiliary and their sponsor First Community Bank. And don’t miss a chance to visit Santa Claus himself!
